What butter crunch means depends on where you are from and what you grew up with. At Candies of Merritt it means a butterscotch-like hard candy stick with a golden sheen. Air is incorporated into the batch when pulling it on the hook, allowing it to break easier when bitten into. Coated in milk chocolate it makes an excellent treat.
