October Surface Posting Dates

Welcome to October – month of delivery cutoff dates for Christmas parcels.

It’s hard to believe but according to Canada Post today, October 1st 2014, is the last day to send parcels by way of surface mail for guaranteed Christmas delivery to Australia, New Zealand and Africa.

Other overseas deadlines come throughout the month of October – the 10th for the Middle East, 20th for Asia, the Caribbean, plus Central and South America, the 27th for Europe.

Air mail dates range from November 24th to December 5th. These dates also apply to Christmas greeting cards posted overseas.

To the United States surface parcels need to be sent by December 8th, cards by December 12th. In Canada December 11th is the cutoff date for parcels, December 18th for cards.
