Speedvale Avenue East Is Open… Partially…

Why does Speedvale Avenue East being open deserve a post, you ask? Any Guelph resident (and likely those further afield as well) will have a tale of construction woes to share. For us it has been the ongoing construction projects over the last several summers, making access to the Speedvale Plaza where our store resides a challenge for everyone.

Happily for drivers, after a summer which has stretched nearly to winter Speedvale Avenue East is open for one lane of traffic in each direction.  The smooth pavement is a welcome treat after the torn up work in progress. Not all entrances to the plaza are finished and operational yet, but this is a delightful change just in time for Christmas.
