Travel Treats

July kicked off with a bang, celebrating Canada’s 150 years as a nation. Many people are travelling this great country, both short and long distances. Others are venturing even further. Whether it’s a short hop to a camp ground, a family barbecue or a longer trip to the cottage, we have treats to send you on your way.

Chocolate covered strawberries are still in season. It is an excellent growing year, and some of the berries are quite large! Pick some up for the ride or to share with friends and family when arriving at your destination.

Fudge, jellies – including our cherry-vanilla Canada jellies – nuts and hand dipped chocolates all make tasty snacks along the way, or lovely hostess gifts. Gummy candies and wafer cookies are great for travel treats.

We also have a good selection of Gourmet du Village hot chocolates, apple cider, lemonades, seasonings, dip mixes, bbq sauces and rubs, but not at cottage country prices. Come stock up before you go.
