Thanks To Our Chocolate Night Guests
Many, many thanks to the guests for our all you can eat chocolate event last night, Tuesday July 23rd. We had a fun time listening to all the different feedback as each new item was sampled. Reading through the comments has been interesting as well. To let others know what they missed we had several different chocolates to test out.
- white hazelnut-cranberry bar
- milk and dark sea salt bar
- milk and dark almond-cherry bar
- milk and dark raspberry bar
- milk and dark sea salt caramels
- milk and dark praline perogies
- milk and dark sea salt praline perogies
- milk and dark chugles
Many of these trial chocolates came about from conversations over the last few months with customers. For instance ‘Chugles’ are chocolate dipped Bugles. Sea salt topped chocolates have been requested more and more. Raspberry anything has been a regular request. Fruit and nut bar combinations have also been mentioned.
Praline perogies (no potato involved) are ground pecans in a bit of cream. Once dipped in chocolate one set we topped with sea salt, the others were left plain. These were John Merritt’s latest brainstorm.
Most of these trial batches have made it into the cabinets for sale, though in limited quantity. Last year dried cherries and dried cranberries in milk and dark chocolate were the big hits of the night.
What will make the cut to become regular additions to our chocolate line up this year? The results are being tabulated…
