Chocolate Chip Almond Biscotti

According to the RCI calendar October 14th is recognized as National Dessert Day. Here at Candies of Merritt not only do we have chocolate and fudges which are perfect for a sweet dessert but we also have a few other options to tempt people’s tastebuds.

From Gourmet du Village we have one of their newest products, a cake in a mug. Done up in mug shaped boxes you get a mug and a chocolate cake mix which allows you to make 2 cakes in a mug in your microwave. Priced at $14.95 we have them in either just a plain chocolate design or the popular birthday design.

Imported from Italy we have Almond and Chocolate Chip Biscotti priced at $5.50 for a 250g box as well as a range of gourmet wafer cookies that make a nice snack. These are available in five different flavours, Cappuccino, Hazelnut, Cocoa, Vanilla and, Lemon and are priced at $2.00 each.

Also, don’t forget we are almost halfway through Pumpkin Pie Fudge Season which also works well as a very fall flavoured dessert option!
