Celebrate Canada At 150
So much excitement is surrounding all the celebrations for Canada’s 150th birthday this July 1st. One of the most frequent questions recently is ‘what do you have special for Canada Day?’
How about a Canadian flag made with chocolates? Or milk chocolate maple leaves? Milk chocolate ‘E’-‘H’? Fancy maple? Try maple hot chocolate, maple tea, maple based gourmet mustard, sauces or rubs? Maple sugar or syrup? Or choose one of the ready to go gift arrangements. Plus right now we have our milk chocolate covered strawberries, dipped fresh every morning.
Looking for something non-edible? Canada 150 pins, key chains, or Canadian flag pins are made in Canada. Hoselton polished aluminum sculptures are beautiful souvenirs made in Colbourne, Ontario. Gordon Hare wall tiles from Rockwood, Ontario are another local option. Keirstead prints add a touch of colour to a wall. We also have some plates, dolls and figurines by Canadian artists. In plush we have moose, bears and a beaver. The beaver is sporting a Canada 150 t-shirt. Check out our selection of Canadian themed Cherished Teddies.
There are lots of ways to celebrate. Enjoy this special year!
